Nashville Facts

MMS will take place in the conference rooms of the Grand Hyatt, located on the 2nd through 4th floors. View the space in 3D here. These spacious facilities ensure a comfortable, uncrowded environment, with minimal noise throughout. You'll also find plenty of breakout areas to connect and have one-on-one conversations with fellow attendees or speakers.

Dining:

The Nashville Grange is located on the Lobby Level and features incredible views of famed Broadway, nearby Union Station and the vibrant, surrounding city.

Lou/na is the stunning rooftop venue that features indoor and outdoor seating, entertainment and breathtaking views of Nashville and beyond.

Aurum elevates the lobby lounge experience and is the ideally located in the heart of the hotel’s Lobby Level.

Solstice offers indoor and outdoor poolside food and beverage service on our fifth floor Lifestyle Level.

Hummingbird Coffee Market is located in the lobby right next to Aurum and the Grange.

Across the street is a beautiful hotel called The Union Station Nashville Yards Hotel which houses a restaurant called Stationary and a bar called The Box Car.

MMS will be held at the Grand Hyatt which is on Broadway, the main street of Nashville. We recommend you just explore on your own. It's worth noting that if you hear music on the main floor of an establishment which is not to your taste, odds are the next floor up is playing something entirely different. That said, here are some notable things to see as you make your way down.

Nashville

As you near the far end of Broadway, you'll find Printer's Alley to your left (north). It's worth a look too with plenty of its own activity. Some items of note:

  • Historic Charm
Printer's Alley is steeped in history, once home to publishing companies and speakeasies. Today, its cobblestone streets offer a nostalgic escape from Broadway's buzz.

  • Live Music & Bars
Visit iconic venues like Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar and Skull's Rainbow Room, where the atmosphere is intimate and the music eclectic.

  • Speakeasy Vibes
Enjoy the Prohibition-era ambiance of Printer’s Alley, which still retains its secretive and rebellious charm.

  • Street Art
Look for unique murals and hidden artistic gems in the alley, perfect for photo ops and a touch of Nashville creativity.

  • Diverse Dining
From upscale dining at Skull’s Rainbow Room to casual eats, Printer’s Alley offers a variety of culinary delights in a cozy setting.

Where is registration?
Sunday 12-5pm: in the expo area on the 2nd floor.
M-W 7-5pm: top floor entryway of expo in the foyer

Where is the welcome reception?
We're currently planning another pool party. Everyone with a badge is welcome (spouses/partners are welcome for the last 30 minutes).

Where are the cabanas?
We're calling them Jam Sessions like we did in New Orleans. We have yet to pick exact rooms for these yet.

Where is lunch?
Currently planned for one of the big ballrooms.

Is there a closing party?
There is no formal closing party hosted by MMS (but there is a welcome reception Sunday evening). Keep an eye on twitter (#MMSMusic), as well as converse with attendees to find out where attendees (and staff) are congregating. Many sponsors throw some great parties too so be sure to visit their booth and ask!

Is there Wi-Fi in the breakout rooms?
Yes, but it can get saturated quickly if everyone opens their laptop/phone and starts working. Try to limit your use for this reason alone. You or your company is paying for you to come learn, not logon and work!

Is there a dress code?
You can dress casual, but don't be a slob. Always best to dress for success!
