What was MMS 2025 Music City Edition?

This second MMS edition was held October of 2025 at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, TN and followed the same recipe for all MMS events:

  • Multi-speaker sessions with extended Q&A
  • Evening happy hours
  • Smaller venues ensuring attendees could ask questions
  • Returning speakers from past events

Music City also brought back our unique Jam Sessions! Attendees signed up for 20-minute private sessions to talk to speakers or Microsoft. Sponsors hosted offsite events including Patch My PC's Community Night and 2Pint's Women in Tech Lunch.

The conference was held at the Grand Hyatt in Nashville, a newer hotel with large rooms just blocks from all the action on Broadway. Our 14 sponsors had room to sprawl out in front of the ballrooms. 468 speakers, sponsors, and attendees showed up for the week for intense systems management sessions and fun networking with peers and Microsoft.

We arranged Segway tours on Sunday for attendees to start networking and learn the layout of the city before things even got started. We had a band at the welcome reception at the pool where we enjoyed great food and weather.

    During MMS 2025 Music City Edition, speakers, sponsors, and attendees came together through auctions and donations to raise over $11K for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee (Nashville). MMS contributed additional funds to bring the final total to $12,345.67—a number chosen to reflect growth, just as BBBS helps children grow.

    On Wednesday evening, Tony Fisher, their Director of Advancement, shared a compelling message about why BBBS's work is so vital to our community. Sponsors generously donated prizes to encourage participation, and the response was incredible. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
