What was MMS 2026 at MOA?

This full MMS edition was held May 2026 at the Mall of America in Bloomington where 765 attendees (including speakers & sponsors), showed up for the week for intense systems management sessions and fun networking with peers and Microsoft. We followed base formula for all MMS events:

  • Sessions with two or more speakers
  • Extremely long Q&A for every session
  • Evening happy hour sessions
  • Smaller rooms and overall size so every question could be answered
  • Many great speakers from past MMS events

New for 2026 were Fishing Sessions held in the back of the FireLake for a quieter, more private setting. These joined the existing mix of speaker and Microsoft 1:1s, plus new 20-minute career sessions where attendees could discuss career options with various speakers.

Sponsors held great evening events like Fair on 4 (Patch My PC) and FireLake Happy Hour (Recast). And of course, 2Pint took the Brewery Sponsorship like they do every year taking a good 75 people out to local breweries on Sunday.

The actual conference was held again at the Radisson Blu at MOA. We love this location for the quick access to the ballrooms, for the great white speaker\attendee table by the FireLake Grill which has outstanding food and is always a great evening hangout to talk tech all evening.

We had two bands at the welcome reception and brought back social cards for drinks and prizes (cards replaced the coins from prior years, with clearer directions for usage). Added to the fun mix at the reception were a golf simulator and radio controlled race car driving. We opened Escape Rooms and The Big Game Show to everyone to build relationships and help people meet each other.

Attendee Quotes

As always, the most densely packed week of extremely valuable and topical information from the best in the industry.

This is the one event I would recommend for every endpoint admin to attend at least once in their career.

MMS is a must-attend—it sparks innovation and gives us actionable takeaways that drive meaningful change.

Packed a year’s worth of endpoint management knowledge, troubleshooting ideas, and great conversations into one week—and left with a notebook full of solutions and a lot more confidence.

Deeply insightful content delivered by front-line professionals who brought real-world experience and practical context to every session.

A week of deep technical sessions and unapologetic nerding out within a warm community, leaving with a brain full of actionable takeaways.

MMS was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had in IT, full of friendly people and awesome presenters.

I have forgotten more this week than I have learned all last year on my own.

Another memorable year of being the dumbest person in every room.

Overwhelmingly amazing!

Best IT conference ever.

Exceptional experience as always!

Fantastic conference well worth its value.

The most complete conference in this space.

Mind-blowing.

Overwhelming but rewarding.

Great information with direct access to Microsoft product owners.

The content of the sessions was real-world, practical, and directly applicable to my day-to-day work. I also appreciated the many new connections I made.

First time at MMS at MOA 2026 and what a ride—so many great conversations and new connections I’ll be carrying home with me.

Excellent! The community is what makes this amazing.

    Recaps

During MMS 2026 at MOA, speakers, sponsors, and attendees participated in auctions and donations to help gift $37,116 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Twin Cities. Their CEO, Pat Sukhum, spoke to us Thursday evening to thank everyone. Patch My PC speaker Jim O'Neil graciously auctioned his beard to be shaved (netting $9500K!) which Patch My PC then matched! Sponsors donated various prizes to entice the crowd to participate. We thank all who did!

From Micaela Olson-Macgregor, Senior Director of Major & Planned Giving BBBS Twin Cities:

Wow - what a fun week at MMS MOA earlier this month. We are SO grateful for the support from this group and the way you continue to show up for youth year after year. You are all so fun and it is one of our favorite events to visit!
This year, your group raised $37,116 - totaling over $90k for BBBS Twin Cities over the years! Check out this video of that awesome beard shave :)
