  • Why Attend?

MMS is THE endpoint management event of the year. We call it a summit, not a conference, for a reason: it's where industry-leading speakers and MVPs from around the globe connect with Microsoft PMs and developers for deep-dive technical sessions you won't find anywhere else. Plus, plenty of opportunities to network, swap stories, and maybe make some lifelong IT friends.

  • FAQ

    Where is registration?

    • Sunday 1pm-5:30pm: in the expo area on the 2nd floor.
      • Moves to the Midway at 6pm Sunday
    • M-W 7-5pm: top floor entryway of expo in the foyer

    Where is the welcome reception?

Sunday from 6pm-9pm on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS Midway. Apps and beverages served. One guest pass can be purchased for one adult per attendee.

    Where are the cabanas?

We're calling them Wingman Sessions. These will be held on the 2nd floor.

    Where is lunch?

    Outside! See the map.

    Is there a closing party?

There is the greatest welcome reception ever on an aircraft carrier; the USS Midway. There is no formal closing party hosted by MMS (but there is a welcome reception Sunday evening). Keep an eye on X (#MMSMidway), as well as converse with attendees to find out where attendees (and staff) are congregating. Many sponsors throw some great parties too so be sure to visit their booth and ask!

Is there Wi-Fi in the breakout rooms?

Yes, but it can get saturated quickly if everyone opens their laptop/phone and starts working. Try to limit your use for this reason alone. You or your company is paying for you to come learn, not logon and work!

    Is there a dress code?

You can dress casual, but don't be a slob. Always best to dress for success!

  • Fun

MMS Midway will be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatton the Embarcadero, San Diego’s scenic waterfront promenade and one of the city’s most walkable, energetic areas. From the marina views to the nonstop dining and nightlife, you’ll be right in the center of everything.

Just north of the hotel is Little Italy — one of San Diego’s best neighborhoods for restaurants, cocktail bars, rooftop lounges, coffee shops, and late-night spots. Once a historic fishing district, Little Italy has evolved into a lively social hub filled with patio dining, craft cocktail bars, wine lounges, and some of the city’s best Italian and coastal cuisine. It’s ideal for team dinners, casual networking, or simply exploring after sessions wrap.

Favorites include upscale Italian dining at Born & Raised and Barbusa, craft cocktails at Kettner Exchange and Nolita Hall, and laid-back spots perfect for grabbing drinks with colleagues. The neighborhood is especially vibrant in the evenings, with packed patios, live music, and a distinctly San Diego mix of sophistication and relaxed coastal energy.

South of the hotel, you’ll find the historic Gaslamp Quarter, known for its Victorian architecture, nightlife, rooftop bars, and entertainment venues. Once the heart of San Diego’s red-light district, today it blends historic charm with modern energy.

Visit iconic venues like The Shout! House and the Hard Rock Cafe, or seek out speakeasy-style cocktail bars like Prohibition and Noble Experiment, both known for their intimate atmosphere and hidden entrances.

Between the waterfront, Little Italy, and the Gaslamp Quarter, MMS attendees will have no shortage of great food, drinks, and places to explore throughout the week.
